Meet the entertainer:  My name is Jeff Madama, owner of Millennium Mobile DJ.  Since 1997, I have been serving the entertainment needs of Central Ohio in the multiple roles of DJ, Master of Ceremonies, and On-Site Coordinator.  When I'm not spinning music, I'm in front of a high school class as a teacher, having earned a Master's degree at The Ohio State University.  I have also assumed managerial positions in business and have had numerous leadership roles and speaking engagements.  Why am I telling you all of this?  Entertaining is a "People Business" and it is my belief that the culmination of my many experiences working with people have contributed to my success as a Mobile Entertainer.  I am at home in front of a crowd of unfamiliar faces and possess the energy, professionalism, experience, and determination to bring your event to life. 

When the decision is made to invest in professional entertainment for the celebration of a special occasion, the objective is to have a great time with friends and family.  Your event is important and selecting the right entertainment is crucial for a successful outcome.  Millennium Mobile DJ is committed to making your celebration one to remember and I will strive to satisfy your needs prior to and throughout every performance.  As your entertainer, I have a big responsibility; recognizing that my efforts will ultimately determine how successful your event will be.  When my clients place their trust in me to entertain for them, I take this honor and my role seriously by planning accordingly, getting to know them by establishing their needs, and then executing the agenda according to plan.  I highly recommend meeting with any professional you are considering for your special occasion to determine if they can best meet your needs and to establish your comfort level.  Prior to your event, I will personally consult with you and coordinate each and every specific to ensure you have the experience you deserve and expect and will offer helpful tips and suggestions.

How long have you been a professional DJ and how did you get into the business?

While attending college full-time at Ohio State in 1997, I was in the market for part-time and flexible employment to help make ends meet. While scanning the classifieds one afternoon, I came across an opportunity with an established entertainment company looking to recruit and train new talent. Prior to this, the idea of becoming a DJ never crossed my mind. The opportunity appealed to me so I forged ahead and scheduled an interview. Following the interview, they were willing to give me a shot to test my aptitude. After several training sessions at wedding receptions and other events, I was hooked and new my heart was in the business. They were impressed with my reviews and set me up with a set of gear; working me most weekends. I eventually made the decision to go into business for myself and established what became Millennium Mobile DJ.

What sets you apart from other DJ companies in Central Ohio?

First and foremost, my clients are a top priority for me and I make myself readily available to answer questions, concerns, or desires in a timely manner. I can easily be reached by phone and email and will get back with you in a timely manner.

I have a passion for what I do which will be obvious in my work and in our conversations and I thrive on helping clients create an awesome entertainment experience.

Planning, planing, planning. I will work with you in any capacity necessary to help you plan an entertainment experience that is unique to you and will remain attentive to your needs. How much do your services cost?

What is a quality entertainment experience worth to you and what is your vision for your special event? In all honesty, my rate is very reasonable considering the lengths I will go to, to provide you with a great entertainment experience.

When all is said and done and your last guest exits the venue, regardless of how little or how much money you invested in your entertainment, it was not money well spent if your entertainment experience was not what you hoped and dreamed it would be.

Really think about what your dream wedding reception or special event looks like and what that means to you and call or visit with me for your complimentary "Get Acquainted" consultation so that we can really talk about how we can work cooperatively to make your dream a reality.

Research reveals that 80-90% of the success of your event is based solely on the entertainment. Given this statistic, entertainment is typically the last item considered when hosting an event. If thousands of dollars are ultimately allocated to your event, but the wrong entertainment option is secured, the whole event will be perceived as a failure as both you and your guests will remember how much or how little fun they had. Build rapport with a prospective entertainer and get a strong feel as to whether he or she has your best interest at heart, and remember, a good DJ will invest many hours behind the scenes in preparation for your special event.

Who do you work best with?

You will benefit best from working with me if your desire is to have a professionally managed and thoroughly enjoyable entertainment experience and if we have a mutually established comfort level or "good fit" which is the purpose of the complimentary "Get Acquainted" consultation.

If I put the entertainment planning squarely in your hands, will I lose control over what will happen?

Absolutely not. A poor DJ company is one who takes control away from you. That is not my objective. My goal is to be an extension of who you are and to capture your energy as we plan your unique entertainment experience. You are the focus of your wedding reception or other special event and my aim is to serve your needs and the needs of your family & friends to the best of my ability.

Will you work with vendors I have already secured?

I work closely with all the professional vendors you've placed trust in for your special event and you should expect nothing less. After all, we are and should be working in harmony to address your needs.

Do you entertain at more than one event per day?

No. The day belongs to you and I reserve my energy for your event and your event only.
